New Hope Charter School
Where students grow and are prepared to be lifelong learners who transform themselves, others, and our global communities for good.

Bringing Hope to Students and Families
New Hope Charter School was started in 2020 as a partner school with the Robla School District. The purpose was to provide an opportunity for 6th graders promoting to Middle School to stay close to home in a nurturing environment and provide online synchronous education for K-6 students who would benefit from the home based learning.
Our Oak Tree logo is meaningful in our connection to the Robla District as Robla is a derivative of the Spanish word “roble,” which means “cluster of Oak trees.” An oak tree is strong and enduring and provides an ecosystem for life. An oak’s true magnificence lies below the surface. The main root grows vertically, securing a reliable supply of nourishment and a mass of roots then spreads horizontally to supply the tree with a lifetime of moisture and nutrients.
We call our students “scholars” because we believe New Hope is providing the environment to grow rooted lifelong learners. Working in powerful partnership with Robla School District, New Hope Charter School nurtures this ever-deepening root structure so that scholars will thrive having been prepared for a lifetime of growth, learning and leadership.
- New Hope teachers nurture an environment of relational trust. This helps ground our scholars to weather and flourish in the life-changing circumstances, trials and challenges of young adulthood. The fruit of our scholars’ deep-rooted academic and social-emotional learning will become evident as they become caring, responsible leaders in the community and the world.
